The digital age has witnessed a huge amount of AI-driven tools that promise to make the writer’s life easier.
But in reality, most of daily users keep coming back to ChatGPT again and again. Thats because creating a savvy GPT persona top deliver outstanding results is somewhat easier than finding, tweaking and testing out new tools and helpers.
I’m not saying though that there aren’t good tools out there that execute tasks faster, better and more efficiently than ChatGPT can (hell, I even wrote about some) but at the end of the day, a lot of users will return to the tool they know how to use and work there.
The biggest problem I saw in daily GPT use is that it is somewhat hard to teach him to write as YOU write. Or the way I write.
But with Advanced Data Analysis this is become really simple and very powerful as well.
Imagine having a digital twin writer who can effortlessly produce content in your distinct voice.
Step 1: Dig Up & Gather Your Writing Samples
Show ChatGPT your authentic writing style
Before we can teach ChatGPT to mimic your writing style, we need a comprehensive look at your voice.
So, your first task is to rummage through your digital archives. Maybe you’ve got some old blog posts, newsletters, LinkedIn or Facebook posts, Twitter or X threads or even personal emails that reflect your style.
Heck, even those secret diary entries from a few years ago could serve the purpose!
Prep your data:
Compile your chosen samples into a single document. This will serve as your “Writing Style Framework.” Don’t stress about the file format; ChatGPT is versatile. Whether it’s a Word doc, a PDF, a .csv, or a .docx, it’ll do the trick.
I created a detailed framework that will help you create this file in a minute.
Step 2: Dive into the Code Interpreter
Unlock the magic
Begin by heading over to ChatGPT’s settings.
Here, you’ll find an option labelled “Advanced data analysis” tucked away under the ‘Beta Features’ section. Give it a click, and you’ll be one step closer to creating your writer twin.
Switch on the “Advance data analysis” option. This will ensure you’re leveraging ChatGPT’s full potential. Following this, navigate to the GPT-4 version and activate the “Advance Data Analysis” feature.
This will prime the system to deeply analyze your writing style.
Upload and go
With the Code Interpreter feature now enabled, initiate a new conversation. Here’s the exciting part: you can now upload the “Writing Style Framework” document you prepared earlier.
Click the + icon and upload the file.
TIP: prepare your file in Google Docs and export in .txt file. PDF occasionally return error and don’t work.
ChatGPT is ready to dissect and understand your unique voice.
Step 3: Create content with your style, tone and structure
Kickstart the process with a prompt that sounds something like this:
Once ChatGPT has had a good look at your style, it’s time to put it to the test. Here’s a sample prompt to get you started: “Following this framework, write a [story/email/blog post …] about [insert your topic]”.
With these simple steps, you can have your own AI-powered writing assistant that doesn’t just produce content but does so in your unique voice. It’s like having a digital clone of your writer self, ready to help whenever you need. Give it a try, and witness the magic unfold!
