Manus is joining Meta. Meta acquired Manues.
Put it the way you want, but is interesting.
On the surface, it looks like another startup acquisition. A strong product meets a big platform.
But if you work in AI, this move matters more than it first appears.
Manus has been building a very powerful general-purpose AI agent that does actual work. Research. Automation. End-to-end tasks. Quality demos and mvps.
And Meta is quite clear about its long-term direction – AI agents that operate inside everyday tools. Business workflows. Consumer products. Messaging platforms. Ad systems.
For that vision to work, agents must be reliable. Predictable. Safe. Able to complete tasks without breaking everything around them.
For now, Manus will continue selling subscriptions. The product stays live. The company remains in Singapore. The team keeps building the same thing.
